DRY CARGO

We are a dedicated e professional team working under the same motto: value generation and hard work. By living up to our values, we have managed to build up a level of activity of around 1 million tons of cargo fixed annually, creating a valuable source of information and network that our clients can trust.

We assist a vast range of industrial clients, ranging from small local exporters and importers fixing small volumes of cargoes, to large conglomerates controlling large freight contracts per year. The common ground is that they all control freight locally in Latin America.

CONTAINER/FORWARDING

Our freight forwarding desk services local exporters and importers, both dry and refrigerated cargoes. Our services include shipping, storage, cross-docking, custom clearance inland transportation and logistics in general. We have strong partnerships with the major container carriers in Brasil, and our constant and growing volumes have allowed us to benefit from competitive tariffs. In SCS Chartering we strive to provide a service that meets our clients needs, working shoulder to shoulder to optimize time and costs in both import and export operations . Having an extensive Global Network of agents enables us to keep close track of each cargo.

We specialize on full loads as well as consolidated cargoes, with regular sailings to and from Brasil world-wide.

OPERATION

“Fixing is the easy part…”. We believe that we add the most value to our clients by offering a close and dedicated post fixture attention. Our Postfixture desk attends more than 50 ships per year, providing a pro-active rather than reactive (problem solving only) service, striving to avoid unnecessary problems/troubles by being able to anticipate, rather than spending time in solving them. We work closely with our clients and Postfixture desks, including assistance on laytime calculations and legal advice amongst other things.

We are proud to be a member of the Baltic Exchange and abide by the Baltic Code of Conduct.
